Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. pdf-lib loads the file into memory in the current tab and writes the output as a local download.
Can it handle encrypted PDFs?
It ignores encryption when loading, so many lightly protected PDFs open, but strongly encrypted documents may fail.
Does the output preserve formatting?
Yes. Pages are copied byte-accurate, so text, images, and annotations carry over.
