Which Chinese variants are supported?

Simplified (Mainland) → Traditional Taiwan, Simplified → Traditional Hong Kong, and Traditional → Simplified. Conversions use OpenCC's dictionary set.

How accurate is the Pinyin?

Pinyin is produced by pinyin-pro, which uses segmentation and a multi-pronunciation dictionary to disambiguate polyphones like 重 (zhòng vs. chóng) based on surrounding characters.

Does the page send text anywhere?

No. Both the OpenCC dictionaries and the Pinyin dictionary are loaded into your browser, and all conversion happens locally.
