Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains TOOLGRID's browser-local tool-processing boundary and the separate network activity used to deliver the site, measure page usage, and show advertising when enabled. Local processing does not mean that the website has no network requests or telemetry.

Local tool-processing boundary
TOOLGRID tool code processes selected files, entered text, and generated results in the current browser tab and is designed not to post that content to a TOOLGRID processing endpoint. PDF, text, calculator, encoder, and similar workflows use browser APIs, JavaScript, or WebAssembly on your device.
Pages still request HTML, JavaScript, styles, fonts, and other dependencies. Browser extensions, operating-system services, links you open, and third-party services have their own data boundaries. Features that use browser storage identify that behavior in the relevant interface.
Verify the boundary
You can inspect the page's network activity and distinguish tool processing from hosting, analytics, and advertising requests:
- Open a TOOLGRID tool and then open browser DevTools.
- Select the Network panel and clear existing requests.
- Use the tool with non-sensitive sample content.
- Review request destinations, headers, and payloads. Static assets and analytics or advertising requests may appear.
- TOOLGRID instrumentation is designed not to include your entered file, text, or generated output. If you observe otherwise, stop using the tool and contact us.
Content kept out of TOOLGRID processing endpoints
- Files selected for supported PDF and image workflows
- Text entered in counters, diff tools, converters, or formatters
- JSON, tokens, URLs, and query strings inspected by local tools
- Passwords, hashes, UUIDs, and other values generated in the browser
- Generated results until you choose to copy, download, open, or share them
Hosting, analytics, and performance measurement
TOOLGRID is delivered through Vercel and may use Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights, and Google Analytics. Depending on configuration and provider behavior, these services may receive page URLs or paths, referrers, interaction and performance events, browser or device information, IP addresses, approximate location derived from IP, and other identifiers.
These services measure site and page activity. TOOLGRID's event instrumentation is designed not to place tool-entered files, text, or generated output in analytics event payloads. Provider retention and processing are governed by their settings, contracts, and privacy documentation.
Advertising, cookies, web beacons, and identifiers
When advertising is enabled, TOOLGRID may use Google AdSense. Google and advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, process IP addresses, or use other identifiers as a result of ad serving. Ads may be personalized from prior activity where permitted and consented, or non-personalized using contextual signals.
Non-personalized ads can still use cookies or mobile identifiers for frequency capping, fraud prevention, and aggregated reporting. TOOLGRID does not intentionally send tool-entered content to AdSense, but the page and ad request remain separate network activity.
Consent, personalization, and your choices
Before TOOLGRID enables personalized advertising for users in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, the publisher must configure and publish a Google-certified CMP integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Where consent is otherwise legally required, ad serving must remain disabled until the appropriate consent controls are configured. CMP certification does not itself guarantee compliance with every applicable law.
If a configured CMP or regional privacy message is displayed, use its privacy-options control to manage or withdraw consent. Applicable US state messages may provide a 'Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information' choice. TOOLGRID does not currently offer a separate first-party consent settings page. You can also manage Google ad personalization in My Ad Center and use browser controls to delete or block cookies.
Retention, security, and policy changes
TOOLGRID does not provide an account or server-side storage service for tool inputs. Data saved by an optional browser-storage feature remains subject to your browser and device controls. Analytics, hosting, and advertising providers may retain data under their own settings and policies.
Browser-local processing reduces the TOOLGRID upload surface but is not a blanket security, confidentiality, or legal-compliance guarantee. We may update this policy as services or practices change and will update the effective date when material wording changes.
Frequently asked questions
Does TOOLGRID store my tool inputs?
TOOLGRID does not offer a server-side tool-input storage service. Supported tools process inputs in the browser rather than posting them to a TOOLGRID processing endpoint. A feature that uses browser storage is identified in its interface.
What analytics and advertising services are used?
An enabled deployment may use Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights, Google Analytics, and Google AdSense. Those services have separate network, cookie, identifier, and retention boundaries described in this policy.
Can every tool be used offline?
No blanket offline promise is made. Processing can continue locally after required assets load, but pages, dependencies, analytics, advertising, or some browser capabilities may require a network connection. Only a tool explicitly marked offline-ready makes that claim.
How do I change or withdraw consent?
TOOLGRID does not currently offer a separate first-party consent settings page. If a configured CMP or regional 'Do Not Sell or Share' message is displayed, use that control. You can also manage Google personalization in My Ad Center and clear or block cookies in your browser.
Is local processing a guarantee for sensitive documents?
No. It avoids a TOOLGRID processing upload path for supported tools, but you must still consider device security, browser extensions, third-party software, links you open, and the sensitivity of the content.
