No. Everything runs in this tab — both EXIF parsing and the cleaned re-export.

Why does the cleaned file have a different size?

Cleaning re-encodes the image through the browser canvas, which strips EXIF but also changes the compressor settings. Use PNG for lossless output.

What formats are supported for reading?

JPEG, PNG, HEIC, HEIF, WebP, and TIFF are supported by the underlying parser.
