Infinite Tabs Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-17
By installing or using Infinite Tabs, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the extension.
Current product boundary
Infinite Tabs is a Chrome extension that replaces the new-tab page with an AI-organized workspace for eligible pages. The current release is bring-your-own-key (BYOK) only. It supports OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and OpenAI-compatible endpoints configured through the OpenAI option, including the included DeepSeek preset.
There is no active Infinite Tabs hosted-AI service, subscription, checkout, donation entitlement, or paid plan in this release. The Hosted AI page reports that the service is unavailable and does not collect registrations or product interest. The Support page provides self-service guidance and an optional public email channel. These terms do not grant any hosted inference, quota, service level, subscription, or entitlement.
User responsibilities
- You are responsible for obtaining and protecting any provider API key you configure, and for all charges, limits, account status, availability, and compliance associated with that provider or custom endpoint.
- You must review and comply with the terms and privacy policy of each provider and destination service you use.
- You must configure only endpoints you trust. A custom OpenAI-compatible base URL receives your API key and applicable content requests directly.
- Before enabling cloud processing, you must review the extension's privacy preset. The built-in category controls reduce risk but cannot classify every sensitive website; Minimum filtering disables those category exclusions.
- You may not use the extension to violate law, another person's rights, a provider's terms, or the security of any system.
- You must be at least 13 years old and meet any higher minimum age required in your jurisdiction or by the configured provider.
Data, privacy, and third-party services
The current local and BYOK data paths, consent controls, privacy presets, retention, diagnostics, and deletion levels are described in the Infinite Tabs Privacy Policy. That policy is incorporated into these terms.
When you enable BYOK features, applicable page excerpts, topic context, AI search questions, and a short connection-test request go directly to the provider or compatible endpoint you configure. The provider's processing is governed by its own terms and policies. Disabling cloud processing cannot retract information already processed by a provider.
The extension may show built-in sponsored, self-service support, or Hosted AI status links. Opening one leaves the extension and is subject to the destination's terms and policies. A sponsored or status surface is not evidence that a paid service or benefit is available.
No current payments or hosted-service commitment
Infinite Tabs currently does not process payments and does not provide a subscription, refund program, payment entitlement, hosted model proxy, or guaranteed support response time. If any paid or hosted service is introduced later, its price, billing, cancellation, refund, entitlement, service, and data-processing terms must be published before that service is offered. Those future terms will not apply retroactively merely because the current status page exists today.
Support, feedback, and email
For product support, privacy questions, terms questions, or feedback, a user may voluntarily email infinite-tabs@outlook.com. The email service providers involved in delivery process the sender and recipient addresses, message headers, body, attachments, and delivery metadata needed to route, secure, and deliver the message. The developer receives only the information the user voluntarily chooses to send. The extension does not automatically attach or upload workspace data, diagnostics, browsing history, page content, AI questions or answers, or API keys.
Do not send an API key, private page content, full browsing URLs, a complete browsing history, an unreviewed diagnostic export, or other sensitive information. The email channel does not guarantee a response time, individual reply, or service level.
Intellectual property
Infinite Tabs, its branding, and original code belong to their respective authors and licensors. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licenses. These terms do not transfer ownership of the extension or third-party services to you.
Availability, AI output, and disclaimers
The extension is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant clustering accuracy, AI-output accuracy, provider availability, uninterrupted operation, data recovery, or compatibility with every website or Chrome version.
AI-generated labels, summaries, groupings, and answers can be incomplete or incorrect and should not be treated as professional, legal, medical, financial, or security advice. Work insights estimate foreground-visible browser time; they do not establish attention, reading, productivity, employment performance, or the presence of a person.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the authors and maintainers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, business, goodwill, provider charges, or opportunities arising from use of the extension or a third-party service.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so those provisions apply only to the extent allowed there. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Ending use and changes
You may stop using and uninstall the extension at any time. Before uninstalling, you can use Settings โ Privacy โ Data cleanup if you want to perform an in-product cleanup first. Provider-side data must be managed through the provider.
We may change or discontinue the extension. Material changes to the implemented service or data path will be reflected in these terms and the Privacy Policy before release. Continued use after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
Governing law and public information
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of the author's residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise.
For current product, terms, and privacy information, use the public Infinite Tabs Support page and the optional email address above. No response time, individual reply, or service level is guaranteed.
